So many things in my mind ... too many that I can't not share
- You just think all days about your visibility in top management ... some just concentrate on make things work and make things better and get promoted accidentally
- Every good idea is surely good ... if and only if it is 99.9% materialized, and working from none to 80% is just a tip of the iceberg. but you get too satisfied at this 80% point, and then jump to another *good* idea ... what you have now is a portfolio of many 20% undone products. You now spend too much time on supporting old stuffs, and you have less and less energy to work out new ideas even to the 80% point ... welcome to the deadlock, or dead-end.
- If you change what you measure when you measure, your measurement is invalid. So, our examination system and university ranking are all simply and technically just invalid.
- I am a Chinese, but not a communist Chinese. Every one here loves our childhood society, but not the UK. We wave our old Hong Kong flag, not UK flag. These are hugely different but I can't understand why you don't understand. We tell you UK is better then you on building Hong Kong, then you tell us to change nationality to UK if we can. Are you ... a Man?
- I am proud to be a Chinese or even an Asian, that we are famous for hard-working and detail-oriented. And I am very upset about my mother China was *renewed* by communist 60 years ago ....
- I never accept the excuse of "Chinese style of blar blar blar". It's just like you fail an exam and you tell me I can only accept it "as it" because it is your style.... Are you a grown up, really? And please, it is "Communist style". Don't abuse the word "Chinese".
- No matter what, don't be EVIL. How you act on the world, then how the world acts on you. If you always complain that the world is EVIL to you, that's your own problem! This is just Newton's 3rd Law and I think it should be a common sense to all, shouldn't it??!!
- It is very OK to set a country or a city toward one-single-goal -- economic development ... but the problem is now ... like a football team in which everyone get fever, HIV, H5N1, random sex habit, ... any epidemic you can name, and you still insist to win the match tomorrow! When they physically can't win but you insist, they will explore all the possibilities to win, including the dirty ways, like graft, false claim of being a winner ... Can you please hold on? Does really that matter to the team if they miss a match or two because they need hospital treatment for few days? Or does it just matter to you only?
- Why thinks not making any sense are so common around me?!
