I was looking at myself, or may be most of you did the same, didn't you.
That's pretty ridiculous that Henry catches Clare tightly even though he lost in the game of time, forever. Maybe we don't notice this at first, but to be honest can you sure you haven't yet been in any occasion feeling lost in time since your were born? Not necessary to be that real as it does on Henry in order to answer "yes." Read your feeling in your own book with the subject named "My history".
I did, and I do.
Do you happen to reproduce somethings at the moment now that you have been missing or you have been losing? Do you replay your past at the moment now?
We all keep going back and forth in our timeline, either consciously or unconsciously, because our happy time is rare and our future is mystery.
Read backward and find my word "ridiculous." Are you with me? Do you see how ridiculous Henry and Clare are? We all play the game of time with no single dirt of cheating, no even when we are facing something we can't withstand. We all respect the rules. We all take it as granted that time goes only forward.
But what you are holding now tightly? Who are you going to walk together in the unknown future? Will you prepare clothes at somewhere, or are you sure someone is going to reappear at the same place, same scene?
If you are Henry, I bet you won't kiss Clare at her 18, because you are afraid you are going to ruin her life. But that's how exactly you are going to ruin the whole "The Time Traveler's Wife" story.
I hope someone here is with me and listen to my voice screaming loud.
Bless you all, and I am here to clean up anything that I myself generate at the same place here.
Henry, congratulations.
